Your work is looking great Sam! I see you are planning on creating something new as well!
great pose! plus the way the hair is in free fall from the head shake is awesome. smoothing her muscles down helped for sure
@Ouran, Thanks man, I know little about producing good renders and effective comps. hopefully I can do her justice in the end!
@Chalkman, Thank you! It means a lot.
@Fivewingangel, Thanks! Yes I’m always planning on creating something new
@magbhitu, cheers dude! yeah Posing her, made me want to go back over all my designs and pose them too! it really helps add to the character sooo much more! and thanks for your input earlier! I agree, she appears much more feminine now
and if Any one is interested, Here is a HD rendered turntable. still thinking how I’d like best to compo this piece. any suggestions I’d love to hear

Very cool and thanks for such an interesting stuff.Design looks so great and very appreciable. She stand at a good angle.
@marrked, Thank you, really glad you like it all
speed sculpting some face. hopefully getting my anatomy closer to the mark. enjoy.
Trying some some color, (hair is just a place holder, as I still suck at doing hair :P)
Here are 4 separate iterations I went through in render and comp. I don’t really know much about creating appealing color pallets or composition, so any feed back ideas and crits would be greatly appreciated thanks and I hope you enjoy
faun just took the bells out of me…awesomastic huge awesomastic fantaboulously majestically awesomastic now as i always keep em comin
I really like the Zoe Jakes faun
@truthhunter, Thanks so much! so glad you like her she’s probably been the most fun character I’ve worked on so far.
@BlackMath, Thanks! I had no idea who Zoe Jakes was till just now haha she could have come in very usefull for reference!
Here was how she changed after I spent a day re-texturing her to something more natural and earthy. plus a little experimenting in PS, still lots to learn about skin texture and realistic renders but it’s been fun!
After a little rest, I got back into my Alphabet crunches. though I was feeling that doing only head - shoulder busts I wasn’t able to explore the whole character as much. so I changed the rules to see how far I can get in a day. of course a day is never long enough. here is my interpretation of Ifrit the fire Djin (WIP)
Did a bit of skin texturing today. kinda hard to render all the details out because he’s so damn tall! lol.
Wow, incredible works here in this thread!!!
“Final” Detailing done, rough color pass and pose. might call say it’s done for now, ready for final comp and render. will have him tenderly stoking a fire in the palm of his hand, If I can pull it off.
Looking cool bud!
Cheers Man!
Got a little creative, still fumbling my way around photoshop. HEAAAPS of stuff to learn about compo and render. but here’s my attempt for now
Electrifying! Cool image! I like this direction.
Cheers, David
psychaDelic.! man …
@David, Thanks man, I wasn’t so sure, will probably run off a few iterations.
@Tyrellcorp, hehe
Here is my latest, Hard Surface WIP. inspired by the robot challenge that is currently going on. She has a few extra parts that I have hidden for now, as I wasn’t happy with the design, So I’ll be going back to the drawing board with her “wing” things. still plenty to do, Refine the Helmet amongst others.
