Awesome!

Totally agree. Awesome Artworks.:+1:

great works! congrats!

This is amazing, SSS2 is really nice. The sculpture looks very nice. Lighting and compositing, Framing is fantastic. I am struggling with vray sss2 shader my self. Do you mind giving some tips? or sss settings?

Amazing stuff here…!! I am curious as how you create this great work. Good sss shader and lighting as well.
It would be good to see a making of this piece.
Congrats!

Cheers.

…in different styles! :+1:
Bravo! :sunglasses:

You pole vaulted the “uncanny valley” with Cash! The sculpt is fantastic, the render is probably as good as you can get with Max.

Kudos!

Nice portrait…Kevin Spacey as ref ?.
Great job on the caryoony general too

Great work, it’s clear your knowledge of facial structure is really strong.

Congrats on top row! That’s one of the most accurate portraits I’ve seen in a long time. Keep it up and I bet you’ll make it where you’re trying to get.
Happy sculpting.

Great work man! :+1:
Nice Render ! :+1:

Love it. Great work.

wow perfectly well done johnny cash.:o If I saw this in another photo gallery it would’ve easily fooled me for an actual photo. I especially love how you captured his staring pose.
:+1:

Great sculpts! I’m curious about the starting mesh, if you could share?

WOW!! I’m not used to have so many comments…

arthurduque, rodion vlasov, digi-mech: thanks guys!!
kazube: thanks, mate. I saw your stuff! I can’t wait to see your zombie soldier finished! I think Johnny could use some more SSS…but I’ll continue to work with SSS later for another project.
DBriggs: Thanks mate. I’ll try to keep the work comming!
CKGIRI: thanks!!
boblenain: thanks for the nice comments. I’m glad you liked my works
Intervain, sculptor.zb, Goobatastic, shikhar sharma, RJ the eccentric, BooMMooB: thanks!!
Abdullah Naeem khan: sure mate. I’ll post my lighting rigg and shader if you want, when I had some spare time, but you’ll be disapointed. There isn’t anything special about my SSS settings. You can find all MONTYBAND’s post in here
meshmasterLLC, Bjerregaard, Ross_DD, Jung3Dart: thanks for the kind comments!
rajbirD: as for Abdullah Naeem khan, take a look at montyband’s post. My SSS setup is basicly the same with almost the same values. I’ll post it when this weekend if I have some time.
Monray: thanks mate. I’ll post my setups soon
Frenchy Pilou: thanks
markkens: thanks! but there’s a lot better in realistic 3ds render. Take a look at Big guns post @_@
Lucky_1: thanks! it seems that Johnny Cash, Kevin Spacey and Daniel Craig look a like each other…my english sucks.
openstheway: wow! thanks! I wish I would
JonSnow: thanks! that’s very encouraging. I’m working to get there!!!

Thanks Zbrushcentral for the top row! Pixologic rules! I can’t wait to put my hand on R2 :stuck_out_tongue:

cheers!

If u guys do so nicely we ( learners like me) have to leave z brush coz it will take ages to reach that level,… :rage:

Superb…have no words,…

Just really wanted to say I absolute love the work on show here. Great skills. Have a good weekend. :+1:

hey man that’s an awsome work, congrats!

could you please share how you did the hair? i’m very curious about it, i’m always suffering a lot in this process (even with hairfarm)…

tanks!

kkriss, MINTY: thanks!
lawless: >here< you can see my stack with all the modifiers. I just modeled with hair mesh edit, than smooth, then hair mesh edit again to have more control then all the frizz and kink. no big deal.
Hair was rendered in a diferent file with scanline.

I hope this is clear

cheers!

some really great stuff here .congrats for top row:+1:
