Not an attention seeker,but i do like working on characters and giving it my own edge.At the same time i know i do good work,its not perfect it might be close and yet at the same time far away.When i come back to it i see my mistakes im compairing my newest work to some others before i post,i believe were almost
there.
It all looks the same to be honest bud, but as long as you enjoy sculpting away thats the main thing, just dont think of it as a career possibility. Have fun with it, its a good hobby anyways.

I myself am new to Z-Brush and spend a lot of time on Z-Brush Central observing and reading. The art in general is fantastic and most of the advice is sound, that’s what keeps me coming back day after day. Shockblade, you bolster my confidence. I am nowhere near ready to post my art here on ZBC but I feel that I am much closer after following this thread.
I’ve seen bad folios, and really bad quality art work (even staring sometimes at what I did myself) and I cannot believe this thread, I just can’t process all the mayor league bull**** I’ve reading and watching, mostly because, all of you fellow artist do care for this kiddo who said he’ll listen, but everytime I see what he fulfills I couldn’t care the less (?)
Now, if you see the irony mark you should all realize what I meant, for real… it is a shame to see someone expecting some approval making pictures that a 5 years old kid would do (hey, I even know kids of 5 and 9 who manage to get quality results at painting, i.e.) but this one… this shockblade; it’s just offensive, and so big that I can only think of a 4chanesque troll that got tired of using paint for his memes.
The wise course of action for this, I think is to call a mod and get the thread closed, since I’m pretty sure you’ll never get to something decent. Specially when it have 16 pages of the same argument: “Get better vs No, I’m already better!”

Shockblade, it’s been 4 weeks now, I want to see a new sculpt, preferably a hand sclupt, or maybe just a bust ( head ) or a monster of some kind. It should be easier to get a better result when sculpting a monster or creature because your anatomy doesnt need to be as correct as it has to be when sculpting real stuff like humans or animals.
I believe anyone can do what they want if they really want it, be it run fast or paint good. It’s just a matter of will and dedication.
I want to see a new sculpt because I haven’t had a good laugh in 4 weeks from reading the comments that follow it. I agree with Ehren & disagree with fdslk. The entertainment value of this thread alone is worth keeping it open.

This thread has been going on since last June and despite people actively trying to help him, myself included, he has almost made negative progress. I’ve found the more you use this program, the more natural it feels and it almost forces you and makes you want to get better. Especially seeing the other amazing work posted around here. Something is either really wrong here or he is just pulling all or our legs and we’re falling for it.
So… you guys have’nt noticed that shockblade is a “conceputal artist” the perfection he seeks in his mind is not the perfection we all are used to, and he is just this --> <— far from getting there… let’s take him to the top row 
Shockblade, if you think everyone HERE is trying to attack your pride, post your ‘close to perfect yet far away art’ on another forum. My experience with ZbrushCentral is that it is an open minded and kind community. There are other places on the interweb that are far less kind. Good luck.
I had a problem and that was rushing things, on my latest works i spent more time and looked at things more carefully.This should be better at getting better results and doing better overall.
churning the same model out over and over again for over 7 months is ‘rushing things’?
I’ll reserve judgement until I see a pic, but I’m expecting a model that’s just as bad as everything else that’s been ‘better’ in the past
