@teddy007kong Hi and thanks for the kind words. I’m not writing a zbrush book though. I write YA dark fantasy novels. Sorry for the confusion there.
Been working on a sinister new character. He’s not going to remain bald, just haven’t got around to giving him hair yet.
I had fun this past weekend doing this little tribute to Dame Hilda Bracket (AKA Patrick Fyffe).

I love it!
Very nicely done.
Thanks. I wish I had Keyshot.
I decided to splurge and got the keyshot bundle. Haven’t had much chance to play with it yet but I did manage to do this with one of my old models. Wow, what amazing rendering software! Now, if only the animation feature was part of the bundle!

super !!!
Hello,
I love the design of the character, maybe I would made the cloth more worn and the basket broken here and there just to enhance the impression of her age.
Nice rendering too!
Thanks. Yeah, I need to redo the clothing. I did that very quickly.
Not had much time to tinker with zbrush lately but I did manage to tweak the Margaret Rutherford I did last year and rendered her in keyshot.

Thank you!
Now I have to go to sleep with the title music of Miss Marple in my ear
Likeness is very good
Haha - thanks, it’s a great tune though so that’s not a bad thing.
I think her face needs a bit more of her personality. When I get around to doing a bit more on her, I’ll see what I can do.
great! really love this portrait… so serious we did not see her often in her miss marple films. but i like this expression.
Thanks, she’s a bit too serious though really. She needs a bit of a twinkle in her eye.
I like her in black and white actually.
Looks just like Margaret Rutherford fantastic job mate and i loved those films when i was younger and if im not mistaken her brother was lional jeffreys another great british actor anyway great job
Actually her family history is grim and tragic. She was an only child. When she was very young, her father had a nervous breakdown and killed his own father with a chamber pot, and was sent to Broadmoor. Her mother hanged herself whilst pregnant and Margaret was haunted for the rest of her life by the fear of inheriting their mental illness. She had to be persuaded to do the Miss Marple movies, as she didn’t think murder was a suitable subject for entertainment.
So no, Jeffries wasn’t her brother, but her cousin was the MP Tony Benn.
Ha, I think you are very close. I remember her always as a serious personality.
She never was a clown, always sovereign, sometimes in funny situations, O.K…
Just change a bit to this moment of attention, maybe.
Eyes more open looking hard right, mouth a bit open.
That’s how I remember her.
Wonderful actress, wonderful story wonderful sculpt.
…and yes. Black & white. I like it more too.
Thanks again for sharing…oh no, not again…the melody
