Awesome expression and articulation in the portrait. I love it. Great zbrush render. I’ve been spending a chunk of time improving my renders from zbrush. It’s a ton of fun. Happy Halloween.

Thanks. She had such an expressive face it’s tough to decide which expression to give her. Tweaking the BPR renders really is like some strange sort of alchemy. I don’t really know what I’m doing, it’s all trial and error - mostly error.
and without the hat…

wonderful portrait! i once did miss marple too, but as a sculpture not realistic. you really nailed her essence. love your portrait.
Thanks, she’s got a fascinating face to study, it’s never still and always different.
Great work!
how long does this take?
The car took longer than a figure normally does for me because I’m not technically minded. The main body was a bit of a pig to do. Looking forward to the new zbrush update, looks like hard surface items will be easier to create with that.

One of the ancient tribe of fisherfolk in Whitby.

Really love the personality this ye old fisherman has. And I’m a huge fan of the dual pipes! Really awesome job!
Thanks. Yeah he’s a two pipe kind of guy - and so is his wife.
Wonderful character!
Thanks, she’s a shore witch and will feature in one of the books I’ll be writing later this year.
really great - reminds me of Elf Quest.
Great sense of character and design especially with the face. Nice wrinkles and ornamental details in the jewelry. I’d love to see a new zbrush book any day. Please keep us posted.
