Your orc looks pretty good. I’ll be watching your progress:D
Cheers.
Very nice stuff!
Nice work and good models, I like the anatomy from your orc
Thx guys!
Here’s my first piece for 2014 I decided to try something new for this one. The goal here was to experiment with a pipeline that allows me to quickly render very highpoly meshes from Zbrush and keep my interaction with Maya or Photoshop to its minimum for speed sake (some color and texture overlays and a few mechanical parts). I must say that everything went very smoothly, HUGE THANKS to Marmoset 2 for handling the whole thing perfectly, IN REAL TIME while not compromising on the rendering quality. (I think I might have finally found my (affordable) Keyshot alternative :))
Anyways, here’s a quick bust I put together inspired by the Harry Potter’s Goblin bank tellers
*Fiber mesh was used for the Hair.
*Dynamesh was used for most of the mesh creation
*Diffuse (face) map, specular maps, roughness maps and detail normal maps were all generated and extracted from ZBrush

Is that even a sculpt? It looks like a 2D painting. which I love.
really great work, thanks for posting.
Really cool, to see such a graphic sculpting and painting style. I also enjoyed your ‘Stranged Bust’
That’s pretty amazing. Love the style and render.
What kind of shader did you use for the glasses girl? Looks great, love the graphic novel feel to it.
This is really great! Love the 2d look. Are you using a custom matcap?
Thx guys! Nothing special shader wise, as you can see in the screenshot I’m using SkinShader4 (which comes with Zbrush) + some color correction tweaks in photoshop

Looking really good! You’ve got to show us a 360 of the model.
Very cute and very nice style Renaud, love it !
