Really really nice work Renaud!
Awesome character! You did a great job interpreting the reference, very appealing 3D version.
Cheers,
Brian
Thx guys! I should hopefully get this posed and 3D printed soon-ish
Great cartoon !!!
Excellent character!
Great job on “filling in the blanks” for the design on his back! you’ve got a great stylized stlye.
Great stuff here. love to see a video of these!
Thx again guys, I’ll try to get an update pretty soon!
So this guy is finally done
Zbrush was used a lot in the process. Especially for mesh creation, roughing out all the sculpt, texturing, pose tweaks, and fiber mesh for the facial and arm hair.

awesome, lots of personality!
did you render in zbrush?
I love it!; great sculpt and render! Thanks for sharing!
That’s real nice.
That’s really great! Loving it
Love these “stylized” characters as they seem to tell a story, a narrative, in fact I’m always waiting to see the next image, as in a comic book :).
If I may, (this is my opinion only), your character overall colors are a bit washed out, perhaps more contrast, a dab more of hue would push it further.
Was your start in dynamesh and re-topo in maya? I’d love to see a bit of the process. I’m new to zbrush.
Tom.
Maybe this is a strange thing to say, but I think the guy looks like Ace Ventura’s bodybuilding-socially-competant brother person.
Love the style of this.
Hey this guy is great! Nice design, great interpretation, and really clean model. The colors all work really well together.
My only crit would be that the little hairs on his arms seem a little too contrasty (is that a word?). Meaning, they don’t seem to be growing on the arm for example. So I would suggest either adding some pore detail, moles, shadows, or something to make them seem like they belong. Not a big deal.
Thanks for sharing!

thx for the comments and feedback guys Much appreciated!
Great sculpts!
I decided to continue an old model I started a few years ago. Still very early stage… More to come!
