Very interesting
Thanks for sharing
Wow ! Congrats to be so rich. Downloading all of them for almost $800 or more I’d actually would like to do the same.
But you’re right it worth it. Nice job from Ten 24
Hey Guys
We have uploaded a full body scan to Verolds excellent WebGL player. The lighting and shaders are baked in but the subtle spec and reflection are running in real time. Textures are fairly low res to keep download times to a minimum.
The scans are also available on the store now http://www.3dscanstore.com

What a beautiful model! You guys have a sweet job
Can’t seem to get that Verolds player to work though, tried in firefox and safari… is there a something to download?
Wow! very nice.
Hello,
We were aware of some Internet Explorer issues with Verold but nothing else. Although your graphics card might have an issue with the site too apparently…
Hope you get it sorted.
Cheers,
Chris
WebGL and Distributed Cloud Rendering is definitely the future of 3D for production. Yes they have some long ways to go as yet, but I would not be surprised if in a year from now most of the big studios have switched over or converted their existing frameworks to the distributed cloud.
Financially is just makes sense. Thank you for this post
P.S Clara.io beats the snot out of Verold, more functionality and rendering control and has better editing functionality. Exocortex team along with Three.js community are setting a development pace that is a marvel to behold.
Cheers Jaybass… we’ll look into it.
Chris
Hey guys

Wonder who will come up with a fake SSS shader for WebGL first or when they will provide the webgl platform/engine with integrated SSS functionality.
Would be great to see some photo real human skin rendering in browser.
Cool Scans…
Dont suppose you could get me the phone number of the vixen from the previous verold display?
Hey guys we have just uploaded a load of new life model scans to the new site…
JayBass There is a Basic SSS shader on Verold but its not particularly useful, I’m sure it will happen though… Ha ha I’m sorry we don’t give out phone numbers
Thank you so much for this exellent collection of anatomy and drapery reference. I was going about sculpting some pants today, realised I had no clue. I beleive this will help out immensly Love what your doing.
Hey guys, we’ve not posted here in a while, been super busy with some pretty cool projects. I just thought I would share this prosthetic scan we did on the set of Atlantis it was created by Mark Coulierand scanned by using about 30 DSLR’s. This was a quick render from modo using the basic skin shader and a few maps to control spec and reflection.
Wow! Keep sharing!
Hey
We have just uploaded hundreds of new head scans to 3D ScanStore. You can see the high res version of these here

Were giving away a super high res Rams skull on the store. It does require a news letter sign up to download. I hope its not to much of a problem, if you’ve already signed up there is a direct link to the download page in your inbox now
Cheers
Jamie
Love what you guys do and really appreciate all the freebees. I bought a couple of the T posed models and was wondering if in the future you guys could have a standardized T Pose for the models so the limbs are roughly in the space position? I believe I have seen some models using poles to rest their palms on so they maintain a similar pose. Just a suggestion! Thanks again for the awesome ref.
