Reference Character Models

Thank you so much for this exellent collection of anatomy and drapery reference. I was going about sculpting some pants today, realised I had no clue. I beleive this will help out immensly  Love what your doing.

Hey guys, we’ve not posted here in a while, been super busy with some pretty cool projects. I just thought I would share this prosthetic scan we did on the set of Atlantis it was created by Mark Coulierand scanned by using about 30 DSLR’s. This was a quick render from modo using the basic skin shader and a few maps to control spec and reflection.

Love what you guys do and really appreciate all the freebees. I bought a couple of the T posed models and was wondering if in the future you guys could have a standardized T Pose for the models so the limbs are roughly in the space position? I believe I have seen some models using poles to rest their palms on so they maintain a similar pose. Just a suggestion! Thanks again for the awesome ref.

I think they could be useful.

My vote is for a 3d print. :+1:

These would be brilliant for many small companies stuggeling to get a working shoulder deformation rig. Having reference scans like this could really help in setting up morph targets/blend shapes - or even just as reference. I know that when I faced the problem of setting up a working shoulder system these would have been invaluable.

edit: for some reason the shoulder image appeared in the zbrush feed so this reply is in regard to those, I didn’t notice the thread had advanced so far since then. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey guys.

Ive just uploaded a little video with 29 expression scans running in real time using a little Unity App I made…

Great reference. I’d be interested.

Hey guys

Here are some full body scan frames cycling through in Agi and Zbrush, the is 100% RAW data at the moment with only vertex colour. Were cleaning and processing them at the minute for our real time anatomy reference app… which will be coming soon…
