The new “DynaMesh Retains PolyGroups” feature from 4R6 made the DynaMesh boole operations a tad more circuitous because you had to get rid of the multiple poly groups (e.g. you had to use “Auto Groups” everytime) before each merge and re(dyna)mesh step.
Otherwise all the concave areas would have get filled automatically.
Maybe a switch to turn on or off this “DynaMesh Retains PolyGroups” feature wouldn’t be a bad idea.
Or does it even exist somewhere and I just didn’t found it yet?
So far the behaviour of 4R6 before the last patch.
Because with 4R6 P2 I have now the problem that the boole order changed!
Now A becomes subtracted from B when it actually should be exactly the other way around, if you now what I mean.
I guess this bug was maybe introduced by accident when the developer tried to get rid of the above described behaviour.
And I hope this will be fixed again soon too.
