Can someone please tell me why if Sculptris Pro has no benefit in the pipeline for producing better maps than traditional Sub D surfaces is there the following statement on the features page for Sculptris Pro?
“Of course, if you’re a pipeline artist it would be useless to have this sculpting freedom if there was no way to get the finished model into a form that can be used by your other software. To this end, ZBrush 2018 provides a new way to remesh any model with the purpose of preparing it for use in a more traditional sculpting or animation workflow.”

I just wondered If I was missing something here in that this feature is of more use beyond the purpose of conception design, 3d printing, cad, and scan data,? It has already been confirmed that Sculptris pro changes point order so to that end has no purpose in the pipeline to baking better texture maps.

There are four new Remesh deformers as part of the Gizmo 3D. If you check out that part of the ZBrush 2018 PDF in your Documentation directory, you’ll be able to learn more about them.
