So thanks but i still prefer pixo adresses the issue within the program.
I agree.
It was worse before ZRemesher. Spirals or not, ZRemesher is AWESOME!

Yea, the work around for spiraling is a bit fidgety but it does work. I’m sure in an update that can have that fixed.
That ‘work around’ for spirals works fine. In the video, the issue was just that the guy was using symmetry, and the model wasn’t quite symmetrical. You could see the guides weren’t quite slicing both arms/legs the same way.
It is easy, and quick to do, and works.
Although, a fix would be good too.
I was wondering if anyone that attended CTN heard any update about when R7 will release?
at the end of the year! stay tunned:D
calm and relax! The gem take its own time!
Is it actually being released at the end of the year or are you guys joking?

I will be 20 in March next year, so if we get 4R7 before then I will be happy. By the way Mike, what part of Ireland are you from?
Thanks Im from Wexford
Do you know Ciaran Meyler down there? He used to work in Gorey Bikes.
Why do you need a fix for zremesher? There are several ways to guide edge loops … There are tools inside zbrush meant to be used for that particular purpose . You need to be able to take the decision about where you want a closed edge loop and where you need the topology to adapt to the shape . Zbrush doesn’t know if it’s an elbow or the knee …anyway I love digressions so I am having fun with this thread lol
Hmm… as Summer turned to Fall, and now Fall to Winter… is everything okay ? With the precious? ZR7?
Anything we can do? Send coffee? Starbucks Eggnog Lattes? Crisps?
She’s going past 9 months to overdue---- !
Still a way to go to the end of Fall/Autumn:
From Wikipedia,
In North America, autumn is usually considered to start with the September equinox[5] and end with the winter solstice (21 or 22 December)
Sorry to bring you down!
Was just about to post that SPRINGFIELD-JACK!
Was just about to post that SPRINGFIELD-JACK!
Give it a week or so you’ll get another chance-I’m fairly sure it’s already been posted somewhere in this thread:D
Looking forward to it. -
a response like that tells me you enjoy the wait, or the use of trivial facts no-one cares about to pamper your self esteem up a small notch.
Thanks for the invite but I prefer to keep my buttocks toasty and attached:D
Escuse me, but during or after the CTN Pixologic dont release any update for 4r7…? This is at minimum “non normal”? Or not? No think about the upcoming release date? Nobody has any different info? Thx and fall in not for ever***128513;
I’ll bet 100 pixels that they announce the release of 4R7 at CTN next weekend
I really could have used that 100 pixels lol
Simply A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
I’m looking to upgrade my computer just for Zbrush 4r7 since my motherboard doesn’t support the current type of RAM I’d rather change the whole comp than upgrade the mobo and RAM . This computer will be mostly for Zbrush, no gaming. Any suggestions?
To the pixologic team, I know you can’t give advice on specific brands and models but, I’m looking to get the best performance for the money, I don’t render often, my main focus is speed while modeling.
Will Zbrush still not use the video card?
What should I look for in a CPU? Specs wise.
Does an SSD help?
I don’t want to overspend for marginal gains? My budget is $1000
Look at this build (minus the 970). Can I get similar performance with cheaper parts for modeling in Zbrush?
