Congratulations guy.
Excellent job my friend. Learned a lot browsing your thread. Maybe you could come by my thread and offer some advice. I’ll doing hard surface stuff but who knows, maybe you’ll have some insight into how to make it better or what the character could be. Cheers.
Gorgeous… well-deserved toprow
When I make a hood and scarf of sylvia, I used two brush alphas which I created and used ‘mask by alpha’ from texture.
I brushed a hood by hand using brush alphas. When I made a scarf I created a texture using brush alpha and then applied ‘make alpha’. After that, deformed surface~ like this~
great job!
and nice breakdowns!
Amazing work, congrats! But how did you made your perfect alphas?
Yeeaah, Thanks for the breakdown, now it’s clear how you made it.
Wow…
Great job!!!
Any chance you could post a quick video showing how you made the scare? Specifically the part where you apply the alphas. I can’t tell if you brushed is on or applied it more procedural like. It seems like there would be some overlapping if it was brush work. Was that not an issue? All-in-all how long did this step take?
Great work by the way!!
This is outstanding! WOW.
Awsome work!
Dude this piece is mindbogglingly Awesome. I’m going to do a piece and this is a major inspiration for me. Specially how you used maya and mental ray in this one. Also love the hair work as well. If you have some time, could you please do a quick video tutorial of your workflow. I hope i could get some one from Digital tutors or from Gnomon school and get you paid for that. It would be huge help for all of the 3d artist community.
thanks man!! keep it up.!!
