PIXOLOGIC PRESENTS THE ZBRUSH WIKI
Pixologic today is announcing the next step in open source learning for ZBrush.
ZBrushCentral has become the one-stop shop for all ZBrush needs: learning, sharing, critiquing and chatting. With over 65,000 members, ZBrushCentral is larger than it ever has been and continues to grow at an incredibly fast rate.
Over the years, ZBC has accumulated a massive amount of data about the best way to use ZBrush, tutorials on using things like the Deco brush or ZSpheres and advice on how to sculpt your model.
Internet forums, however, are not the most organized sources of information. Their organization often resembles the chat-like quality of their structure. Researching answers to your questions can become time-consuming.
Now, the ZBrush Wiki can accommodate all your tutorials, tips, tricks, as well as our core documentation for ZBrush in an organized, easy-to-use, easy-to-access database.
Working together with each other, Pixologic and the ZBrush community can take the abilities and resources of ZBrushCentral to the next level.
The relatively new technology of the wiki puts learning into the hands of the users. The rise of Wikipedia is an excellent example. The Wikipedia, in December 2005, had “27,000 users who made at least five edits…”[1] It has over one million articles in the English-language version. More than the Encyclopedia Brittanica.
