Looks all very good and impressive
 if I could actually load it up. As like a few others who are using 64bit Windows, ZB doesn’t recognise the plugin.

I’m running Windows XP 64.

I look forward to an updated (working) version soon. :slight_smile:

Edit: As Totyo points out below: Don’t extract the UVMaster_Win_1.0 folder into the Zplugs folder. Extract everything inside the UVMaster_Win_1.0 folder into Zplugs.

Now I understand why there is a delay on ZBrush 3.5 for OSX. Even the manual has been worked on in great detail.

This makes it all feel better. I’ve just been searching for a separate UV mapper app and was going to purchase on the weekend.

Pixologic supply FREE upgrades, FREE Plugins and now they even save their customers money on purchasing other apps.

This looks VERY sexy. Am hoping the servers will be back up soon and able to handle downloads again so I can have a look at it. Even zclassroom.com seems to be down. Guess it’s taking a hammering.

did you copy the UVMasterData_1.0 folder or just the .dll?
if you copy over just the dll without its folder it won’t work.

no, i copied everything
 but i recognized after shutting down zbrush again that the files where gone again. so i unzipped once more and that time it worked
 strange enough, but why ask further what a windows system tends to do :wink:

For those of you who have an instalaltion problem, please, carrefully check the path as explained in the read me and the documentation.

it should be on x64:

I do not know What to say about this new plug-in!

Very amazing. I just downloaded and installed on my computer . After a couple of minutes later, the tool begun to show its powerfull and uniqe features. The succes of the unwrapping result was unbelievable!

I tried to export the mesh - in this case , the defult dog Ztool -.

I imported it into 3ds Max and looked at its UV layout with UW Unwrap modifier.

Something was very interesting to me because all the poly faces in UV editor was saperated from each other even though they looked one solid piece of geometry.

Is there anyone who can tell me How to fix this problem?

yes it is SAWEET!

It is totally automagic, but does give you control over density, aka poly to uv ratio, and seam placement via vertex painting.

I will say the seam placement is the only aspect which is not entirely up to you (sym as well)
98% of the time it does what you expect, usually in less than a sec.

to overcome that you can use poly groups, or/and predefined uvs outside zb.

I shudder to think this method could be used to define new typology :grimacing:
