painting textures on lowpoly models?

I have just one question… Will it be possible in future to paint textures on low poly models like in mudbox? I know I can use projection master but it’s not too convienient when you can’t rotate your model or use textures or spotlight. And polycolor on hires mesh is overkill. Please, please Pixologic answer this if you have any plans to make this process easy or I just should start saving money for mudbox, 3dcoat, bodypaint or Mari :stuck_out_tongue:

They can just tell me that I don’t have to save money for other soft :slight_smile:

If you divide with Smt off, you can get the resolution high enough to paint while maintaining the shape of the low-res model. Paint that way, than export the texture and apply it to the low res mesh when you’re done.
