thanks for the tips on post-work on renders using Photoshop. I have PS Elements, PhotoImpact, GIMP,
Fireworks (I miss Macromedia!), but my favorite for everyday is Paint.net.
I use them occasionally, but for the most part, go with the render engine’s “take” after I twiddle
the controls to my liking.
It’s so subjective, and a matter of personal taste. E.g. Cruisin’…the sky in the enhanced version loses definition
of the clouds on the horizon. I could mask it, use the magic wand, etc, but too time consuming, imho.
What I’d REALLY like to do, is learn how to create maps like michalis. And I still want to try mealea’s method
for creating HDRI’s in Blender.
Many, many things to learn & do…so little time for it.
