Michalis!
Tell me something, are you finding your self using Blender command keys while using the ZModeler brush?
I keep hitting E, R, S and G without thinking about what Im doing and then wondering what went wrong!
Its hilarious!
Now you are having fun, Mealea, admit it :lol:
You are facing the best box modeler around, the Zmodeler. Precision itās not the goal, (who cares anyway)
And, for those who hated the zbrush UI (with their own right), well, whatās up doc?
hahahaha!
Yep, who need precision?
This IS fun!

Yes. Fun. That is the word. Itās been years since I had as much fun with anything software as now.
ZModeler also helped me realize that I never liked polygon modeling - I use(d) Modo - because it felt like drawing with a ruler.
Now that is gone. Done with.
This said: you have a lot of pages here in your thread. I had a quick glance and I liked the excitement that the pages radiate.
Thereās a lot to discover.

hehehe!
Its gotten a LOT of use.
Youāre tearing it up!
Itās cool, to watch someone having so much fun.
Brilliant exploration as always Mealea! This thread always inspires me to come back to Sculptris and Z when I should be writing⦠dammit! ahem Of these last two pages the one that intrigues me the most is what I am calling Tentacles hehe or maybe better āThe Sea Goddess Atlanthiaā hmmm Need to think on that name. The goddess Ceph (lapod)? I really like the way you used the octopi and trilobites as hair
That pose is a hard one to pull off and you did a great job with it. The hands need more love but it doesnt detract at all. Well done

OMG Thatās amazing!!
How did you do those colorful shapes?
I havenāt begun to learn R6 and R7 has
so much cool stuff already!
coool one ā¦
@Jan:
You betcha!
I love this!!!
@Tartan:
You HAD to look at the hands huh?
GRIN!
I know about them, they have a LONG way to go yet, as do the arms and a bunch of other parts.
@Zeriel00:
The colors are easy actually, its just a button!
If you have a bunch of polygroups go into the PolyPaint Palette hit the PolyPaint From PolyGroups button and TADA!
There you have it!
COLORS!
@Doug:
I was beginning to wonder if anyone was gonna read that!!!
oops!
Hi Yoogy!!!
Thanks!
And how are you?!?!?!
Its been ages!
Hi Mealeaā¦

I canāt wait until Mealea discovers arrays
Do not Bend, Fold, Spyndal, or Mutilate.
hhehehehehe!!!
Spyndal, you mean like that? That was just a very quick test, but also some of the earlier images use the array thingy too, its awesome.
Nanomesh is next.
GRIN!!!
I LOVE THIS PROGRAM!
Yoogy, I know what its like being too busy, and it sorta sucks!
It would seem that i have missed a BUNCH of your work, Im looking in your gallery nowā¦

Thank you for the heads up on the āpaint polygroups!ā
If you hadnāt mentioned that feature, I wouldnāt have known to look for it. Getting polys into groups so I could manipulate them
has always been one of my weak points.
It IS easy to paint those polygroups now. I love painting them with brush radius.
*Iām wondering how this artistic approach to traditional modeling is going to affect future trends in 3D software. It is very intuitive.
Love your latest creations. This is a fun thread.

PFC!!!
Jan, its a great thing for not only getting a lot of insane color in a big hurry, but also for having a nice vivid look at your topology.
