Now Im having fun

Mealea you shouldn’t turn red.
All boys do this and girls do that.
I’ve noticed it, many years ago.
Not as Freud was thinking though. In a more spontaneous way.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
I can’t tell if you are taking me too seriously or Im taking you too seriously but the result is hilarious!

Since you mentioned Fraud… wait… I mean Freud… yah thats it…
Its gotta be you taking me too seriously, so I recommend looking up Oglaf, its bound to take the edge off.

hehehehehehehehehehe.

Mealea
I’m not serious.
I just noticed through the years that female artists tending to draw archetypes of female nature, males draw the male (phallic) version.
Artists usually understand the symbols and may play games with them. Indeed, a way to compose something interesting could be, draw both male and female symbols in an abstract structure, build on it, why not?
Picasso, among so many other great artists, did it frequently.
Seriously now, what I can’t quite follow is these female heroins (comics) holding these dramatically huge swards or spears… the more huge, the better. Too obvious and too predictable.

Nice work. Very inspirated. Here my little try.ring.jpg

GRIN!
Predictability keeps you from being interesting, being interesting gets you in trouble.

This is great!
I also looked in your gallery of images, you have great things in there too!

and yet another… someday Im going to have something else to post…

What process did you use to make this? It would be good for designing fantasy trees and foliage.

More work on that crazy Crazy Horse picture.
I think I need to start over again…
Or make it worse!

Wow, that’s out there.

Mealea I think the boat is moved a bit. he,he:o:+1:

#1474
A masterpiece.

Very interesting displ maps use. If it is one of mine, please tell me what you’ve done there, it looks great. Most importantly, it looks different. One of the major issues of UVs+displ maps sculpting is that results tend to look similar. It doesn’t happen here.

So lovely thinks are going on here again.
Very nice!
Last pieces let us recognize which artist impressed you most in the last time

I agree with michalis, I like #1474 very much too.

Have you ever made some prints on a big canvas of your best pieces?
Could be really lovely in 150cm or even bigger size

I guess, we digital guys often forget this old medium.
Thanks for sharing!
I am always curious to see new MealeaYing work!

going nice.
how do you make these ball (blob?) structures?

grtz p

Good instinct, i see where you’re trying to go, surprisingly nice.

thnx, again, for the good explanation,
before anything else, please enjoy your coffee.

i wasn’t aware it’s 2.5D.
need to learn that stuff one day too.
now i just use it to create displacementmaps (i mean trying to make them)

I saw Elisum last night after working all day, then got up and decided to see how hard drawing space stations is.
It turns out its a lot of fun!

This is not intended to look at all like the one in the movie which looked a lot like the one in 2001.
We are so embarrassingly behind:
“Get off your ass Dave”
“Leave me alone Hal”
“I can’t do that dave”
“Hal I have an IPhone now and Im too fat and self absorbed to go into space any more”
“Opening all airlocks on level three. Goodbye Dave”
