Love this thread! Itās like a ZBrush rabbit hole I never expected to fall into. But this exploration of edgeloops is coming up with some wild and wonderful results. I myself am playing along (on the sidelines) and enjoying the results. Your idea to turn your āstringsā into insert meshes and drawing with the results are brilliant. I can imagine you making a series of IMMs based on a string-like theme and mixing up the string results a little bit. Using this technique, one could certainly string together an alphabet or virtually anything for that matter.

Since I canāt seem to make a video I have been experimenting instead. The fibermesh thing is great and I figured that the next obvious thing was complicated IMM brushes.
I will try to make the video again tomorrow.

Maybe you should try first with simple geometries, but I still like to see how we will be able to make the letters āwrapā around with cables or wires.
From the first video I donāt understnad if it will be possible to create different shapes(like letters).
