Some embroidery test…still long way to go

looks good already, you using uvs to project the detail ?

Yup. I’m using displacement.

Here’s a quick grab of my 2 masks…left part is the masking part for easy sculpting and the right one is the detail map.

I will call the embroidery done. I need to make some booths now

Very nice, the clothing details look excellent!

@Clintus Maximus thanks!

Excellent work.

@Philuxius thanks man

More progress

I’m calling the high poly done. I might go back to add more details before baking the textures… but for now I got tired of working on this. I hope you guys like it.

This looks incredible, could you go a bit more in-depth about how you did the embroidery?
Can’t wait to see it finnished !

Thanks man
The embroidery was made with some displacement maps. One was quite simple…just the overall shapes of the embroidery…which I used it for masking and some inflate. The other one was a detailed one for all the seams. That’s about all. I’ve posted a picture of the maps a few days ago…just check the previous page of the topic :slight_smile:

I’ve started working on the textures.
Here’s a quick update. Rendered in Marmoset.

I’m calling the body texture done for now and move on to head, hands and hair.

And the textures if anyone is interested.

Man, that looks really sweet, I especially love the coat. What’s the fuzzy map for ? I’ve only had fails when using a fuzz map in marmoset.
Keep up the great work, looking forward to seeing it done.

Thanks!
The fuzz map is to simulate the microfiber on fabrics and skin. It’s fairly easy to work with and with some proper variation it can really improve your materials.

Almost there…one more day of tweaking and then I will make a basic rig and final pose.

I’m calling the texture done. Time to pose her and make a beauty shot.

Great model, awesome textures and details !!!

Thanks mate!
