You’re welcome, thanks for sharing your process
Hello people
I was really sick when I’ve finished recording the orc tutorial and unable to record the voice over, and since then I got busy with the job and started another personal project…so I decided to give you this one for free. It’s missing the voice over but I think it’s more than enough so that you guys can make an idea about my workflow.
In the archive you will find:
- In Marmoset folder you will find the Marmoset Toolbag scene and the textures needed(visible is the posed version of the character but there’s the T-posed one hidden too)
- In OBJ files folder you will find the obj files for the Orc and the Weapon and triangulated versions for Quixel Suite
- In textures folder you will find the psd files for the Orc and his weapon too and also you will find the maps needed to start a new project in Quixel Suite(color id, normal map, ambient oclussion)
- In zbrush folder of course you will find the ztl files for this character.
- In the root you will find the videos that cover texturing process for the whole character and high poly timelapse, low poly creation in Topogun and UV making in 3ds max, scanning the textures with xNormal and actual texturing for the weapon.
Thank you for your interest and please share it with the rest of the world

Thanks guys. There will be probably a texturing tutorial for Eomer…it just depends if I will have time to make it or not…until then just have fun with the orc
Really close to call the high poly done. Just some minor details on the armor and skin details for the face left to be done.

You should be proud of this, outstanding work. I love it.
Thanks
I am proud…usually until I start a new project :))
I’ve got some free time today and managed to go ahead with the low poly for the head and the facial hair…still long way to go tho.
