Beautiful work! I think the pedestal needs just a few cracks as your countryman suggested in German, but I think the alpha pattern is great the way it is, very subtle. Adding skulls or crosses would be too “on the nose” as we say, especially considering the model is a skull already.
You should be proud of such wonderful work so early in your use of Zbrush.

Allerdings airbrushe und ölmale ich immer noch. Zbrush kam quasi als Bonbon jetzt oben drauf. Jedoch habe ich noch arge Wissenslücken - habe z.B. keinen Schimmer, wie ich mit Layern arbeite. Und einiges andere (eigentlich fast alles) ist mir noch völlig schleierhaft.

das ist ja witzig. ich habe auch vorher 16 jahre mit der airbrush gearbeitet. hab dann vor 3 jahren angefangen nebenbei 3D zu lernen. und jetzt arbeite ich seit einem jahr als character artist und hab die pistole verbannt. deine signatur hab ich früher öfter in diversen airbrush zeitschriften gesehen. daher fiel mir das auf.
und du hast echt erst vor einigen wochen mit ZB angefangen?

This is certainly Vlad Tepez, who influences Bram Stoker with his Dracula. I have the plan to make a historical-correct illustration about him, any scene of his life or so. I still have no clear idea but I already started with my base.
Das, was Du bereits hinter Dir hast, hoffe ich für mich auch zu erreichen. Ich möchte professionell mit Zbrush umgehen und die 3D-Arbeit zum Hauptteil meiner gesamten Arbeit machen.
Auf Airbrush hab ich -ehrlich gesagt- überhaupt keine Lust mehr. Dann und wann mal ne Harley, aber auch das nervt mich irgendwie schon lange.
Deinen 3D-Sachen (Hut ab!) sieht man an, dass Du vorher bereits künstlerisch unterwegs warst. Zbrush ist letzlich ja nur ein Werkzeug. Entscheidend bleibt die Hand, die es bedient.
Ich hab noch riesige Wissenslücken und bin in manchen Bereich noch immer arg gebeutelt von Zbrush. Hoffe ich kriege das auch noch hin.
