Welcome Home David…want to see some pictures of your travels…Sorry to hear you were sick and am glad you are feeling better Now … Deke
Hi Deke,
Thanks for the kind words. I don’t have much in the way scenery or even just plain people photographs. I was part of a multi disciplinary burn team from New Working in a hospital in Tanzania. Most of my time was spent in the operating room documenting the care of burnt children.
I am fine now but it was a tough one for me!
I hope to be posting work again soon.
All the best,
david
Hey…Welcome Back David small_orange_diamond:)
Sounds like you had a really rough chapter within your life…But hey,…you are still alive, and probably stronger now in some ways because of the experience that you’ve just gone through…What’s done in the past, will always reflect some into the present, and will help as a guide in the unfortellable and unforseeable future.
Just having a chance to turn the page and start a new chapter…it’s one of the greatest gifts within life.
Take care my friend…It’s great to see you back, and I hope that this new chapter that you’ve turnrd the page to, is full of :)'s for you.

Hey David…
Above is the link to some instructions for using the Pixols to 3D plugin.
Here is the link to the couple of pages that explain the Pixols to 3D plugin…The last two or three pages in my sketchbook are what i’ve been doing with it…Mealea, and Deke/BlueFaret, and a couple of others have been using it also, and coming up with some interesting results…Basicaly, it allows for you to take a flat/document/2.5 canvas, and covert it into a 3D Plane tool. which you can then use the 3D sculpting brushes on…BPR/LIGHTS ect just as you would a 3D sculpture…spin it around to view from different angles…Hang on a wall in a 3D ROOM as i’m experimenting with doing now in my sketchbook…The bigger the canvas size, the better the results…I’m using 2800 BY 2800 canvas sise for most of the pieces that i’ve been working on so far with it…One of the many nice things about it is that you can take the converted 2.5 canvas to 3d plane tool, and once done sculpting and whatever on it …You can change it back to a 2.5 canvas by saving as a flat 2D document canvas…work on it with the 2.5 BRUSHES, and then convert it back into a 3d Plane again…Allows you to go back and forth both ways from 2.5D to 3D and visa versa…Best of both worlds…:)…With some imagination, i’m sure that there is a lot more that can be done with it …Time will tell that story i’m sure…
P.S. You might try using some of the great MultiMesh Insert brushes in con****ion with what you create using the Pixols to 3D Plugin…Tutorials for their useage at the top of the Main Forum page…Link to a great repository of those MultiMesh Insert brushes
tools that people have created and shared is posted right below here…Enjoy
