New Work.

One last attempt with fiber mesh for the night … it’s been a long day! Cheers, David

Hi David,

Just wodering why you always use the same basic color scheme in all your artwork here. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not dissing it. In fact I think some of your work is kinda’ cool. It’s just that it’s the same color over and over again. Live a little and try a different color scheme once in a while.

Hi Zber,

I guess it’s the same as why you use a lot of metal surfaces in your awesome work … i like it!

I am a photographer for almost forty years and I always favored B&W as opposed to color or when I did color it was often hand colored Polaroid image transfers. It worked for me!

Have a look at the link to my website and see who it has also worked for.

Cheers, David

Trying to “live a little” … a new piece, getting busy with other things but still have my Zbrush jones to deal with! Cheers, David

Love the last one so much, I would buy you to print this out mate !!
I can really imagine this seeing on my wall!
Great one and cool and crazy designs, which I love!

Hi Kenny, I hope to get some prints made soon. They won’t be huge but they will be very nice on 100% rag archival paper and with archival pigments. I have a big printer but it is giving me problems at the moment. If I don’t do it in a few weeks it will have to wait until I return from Tanzania, I leave March 12th for two weeks! So glad that you liked that image! Cheers my friend, David

Live a little David…:D:D:D:D

I like these last two posted on the previous page in here,…especally the last one…I like the way the long rectangle is penetrated, forcing me to imagine, and to complete what lies behind it out of sight, but not mind…:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

Question…What are Archival Pigments..I don’t recall ever hearing about them, but am very curious now that I have…

Keep on Truckin…David :+1:small_orange_diamond:)

Glenn

Hi Glenn, LOL I have f*****g lived a lot! Ok archival pigments are just printing inks that produce prints that last approx 100 years! (printed on acid free rag paper) My printer has 12 different cartridges ( cyan, photo cyan, magenta, photo magenta, yellow , black, matte black, red, green, blue, and two levels of gray) This printer is a pain in the butt but when I get it up and running it is awesome I can print 17" wide by however long! Glad you like these lat two! Just got my visa back and need six hundred dollars worth inoculations! Had tetanus and Hep B yeaterday. Yellow Fever, Polio Booster, Typhoid, Meningitis, Malaria still to go. Sub-Sahara Africa ain’t a walk through the park! Cheers, David

LOL DAVID…Do you feel like a Pin Cushion…It feels better when it stops hurting. :D:D
About Living a Little…I just couldn’t resist that one…Knew it would get to you…, because I knew it would get to me also.LOL…:D:D:D…

We have both lived long enough to know that if something works,.don’t fix it, and that includes or style of creation which is what makes us…us…and happy also at the same time…Never anything wrong with being ones own self, especally when it leads to fullfilment of ones own interest…and desire…

Have a Great Day Anyway David,…and  in or is it to Spite it all…:D:+1:

P.S. …Thanks for the info about the Archival Pigments…I didn’t know that they existed, but now I do…Thanks :+1:

Keep on Truckin David :+1:small_orange_diamond:)
Glenn

Wow! If your still harping on what I said, you obviously can’t handle a bit of critiquing. If I knew you were going to be so sensative, I wouldn’t have said anything in the first place. I guess all you want to hear is how good your work is. I’ll stay out of your thread from now on. Thread Subscription Terminated

No one was harping on anything … I was responding to spirit dreamer! You seem to be the one with the thin skin! Cheers, David

Something new … 2.5D of course! Cheers, David
