I really like David Tennant/ Doctor Who sculpt. I like how simple mesh you used as a starting point and your final result with that mesh.
Hello All,
Many thanks for all your replies - it’s good to know people are out there. As for making the Top Row - I’m really pleased. It’s made my day!
Right, down to business, here’s another piece for you - “Horus Heresy: Mechanicum”:
The main character cloth was worked up in ZBrush, as were the foreground bodyparts. The background robots/ cyborgs were also refined in ZBrush - they didn’t need to be too refined and resolved as they were going to be obscured by the battle surrounding them:
Oh, and as a taster for the sort of work coming in the near future, here’s a teaser for a new Privateer Press piece, entitled “Year of the Gear”, which I’m really excited about (ZBrush was used for the organic elements):
Thanks for all your support,
N

You are a true inspiration and a legend. I love the work you do with the 40K Universe. You should be working at ILM, Blur or ID my friend!!

Fantastic work!!! How do I get 6 stars up on this thing?

Fabulous work Harry Palmer,
could you do an “under the hood” on how you composited your first image ( Horus Heresy, horus rising) Zbrush layers, subtools, photoshop etc. Visual components would help ( as you did with the African woman…
that would be much appreciated by many…
Thanks for the inspiration
