abyss103: thank you!!! looks a bit different right now. its still at a low rez and i havnt added any details. just blocking in the major forms. will post updates very soon.
beast_slayer: thank you buddy. glad you like it!
will have some updates soon guys!
thanks everyone in advance for viewing my thread.
its a big motivation to create more cool stuff!!
hi everyone. havnt been using zbrush too much latley so i have no new posts. i do however have a few pics i took of a real clay sculpt im working on,.its pretty big and has some cool details. there was a few times i made some mistakes on the clay sculpt but i would press ctrl + z on the keyboard! lol. just goes to show how comfortable i got with computer apps!! i took the pic with the built in cam on my macbook. ill take some better pics when im done. this is my first clay sculpt so dont bash me too hard!
No one will bash you with a model like that, just Ctrl-Z them…
Really Great…
Ziggy
Do you have access to any Kemper rake tools? they are sweet when it comes to forms. If not let me know an I could get you some.
Your work is very cool and elegant
I’m a big fan of the clay tubes and clay brushes, they are the best for sure
I would like to thank you for showing that technique of painting on top of the low intensity alphas to imbed and detail, that’s something new to me that I must try. Looking forward to seeing more work and your techniques!
Great work as usual my friend!! I love your style!
Hey Carlos, just wanted to say thats freakin awsome.
hey thanks for the replys guys.
heres a small update on the bat creature i was working on.
Love it! Do you have a particular technique for creating your wrinkles? I’m trying really hard to get that look with my work but I’m having such a hard time with it that I feel there has to be an easier way that I am oblivious about.
I’m sorry for even asking, I just went through this whole post and found that you have done a great job trying to explain this to everyone.
Sorry.
I’m just in love with your technique.
Keep it up
Are you working in the biz?
BauerVision: well i dont have a particular technique for wrinkles. you can use alphas, the standard brush, slash brush or the clay 'stubes. you just have to experiment to get that look your looking for. experiment!! whats the worst that can happen??? you press ctrl + z!!!
went thru some z tools on my drive. heres the t rex ive been working on. no new progress but here it is with this awsome mat cap!!!
and the guy is a character ive been working on for a while. its a sort of a 3d prototype for a mod called CRYRECON that ive been working on with a freind of mine for a while. the mesh is just a basic mesh i found for free on the gnomology site. i just cut the model into peices and used the append button to bring it all together. the boots are from the practice soldier on the zbrush download page and the pants are actually from the cool model that nick z posted up here not to long ago. i cut the legs and deleted the subdivision history, then append on the base model and did some sculpting.
and the m4 was a free model i found while doing some serious internet surfing.
have no idea who made this but props on making a cool m4!
oh and i know about the hands… kinda lazy right now…
The bat creature head is very promising, good work!
Did u start from a zsphere?
Keep it up
Bye
cool sculpts man keep up.
lodenfactory: thanks! i used a mesh that i downloaded in the forums. the base mesh is a sphere though.i used the same mesh to make the predator sculpt and the demon character. and also the thanos sculpt.
rodion vlasov: thank you man!
heres an update on the bat creature. hope you guys like so far. c & c welcome!
hi everyone. thought i would post a quick sketch i was working on a few weeks ago. this model was made with zbrush and mudbox. the render is in mudbox.
comments appreciated.
wow, really fantastic work everywhere, amazing stuff. no critiques really, great renders, great sculpts.
