I like the busts, very sculpterly.
Would you mind explaining how you achieved the chromatic aberration effect in the Perseus image?

Great update, the bust is great! Do you plan to finish the sculpt or leave it as it is with this sculpted effect?
Anyway can I ask u wich kind of light setup did u use for the final image? It’s very realistic

AMAZING WORK!!! :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:
Btw the Ogre Images references was made by the MASTER SCULPTOR ANDY “B” http://www.absculpture.com/ogre.htm a truly inspirational Artist!!

just keep rocking man! That reference is awesome MartonDemetrius thanks for sharing that link :+1:

lol sorry, I realize just now that the last picture was the original sculpt and not the one you were working on… I’m a dumb
So nevermind about the questions

great works !

skulll_monster: hey, thanks man really appreciate it!

lodenfactory: haha. yeah man i wish i could make some renders like that. thanks though.

nellement: hey for sure man! thanks!!

MartonDemetrius: thanks! and thanks for that info!

lodenfactory: thanks!! i dont have any plans for working on the sculpt again. it was actually just a test i did to see if i could model from planes in maya. i just took it into zbrush for a quick sculpt. the picture you see is just the ref pic i used for modeling.

jaystein777:thanks man. the chromatic abberation is really easy to do.
it is just a filter that was applied with photoshop. the filter is located under
Filter > Distort> Lens correction. the filter menu lets you play around with the chromatic abberation effect. hope thats helps. ( keep in mind im using photoshop 9.0/// cs1)

hey everyone, i just wanted to show you guys a render test i did using v ray for 3ds max. my good freind mecman cg helped me out by explaining how to apply displacement map to my model.
i think the render came out pretty good but the displacement map did not turn out so well in my opinion. ( oh well its just a test right?!?)

i was browsing thru the zbrush gallery and came across a really nice tut by daemon3d which includes a 3dsmax scene file that has the lighting already setup/ this is the result of that 3dsmax scene and the displacement i made.

hope you guys like:) comments and critique welcomed as always

The top one reminds me of Sin City…it has a film noir look. The bottom reminds me of Aeon Flux. It’s nice to see you exploring different styles. Looking forward to seeing the model.
