Hey Bimm, that’s a great sculpt. Reminds me of a “god of the sea” for some reason. I like that you combined the humanoid and alien without one overpowering the other.

looks good. hte lower lip seems a bit “pointy” though, see what i mean? otherwise great sculpting 
I didn’t know that Neptune was realted to Hulk Hogan…or maybe its the other way around

Yes, I agree ashaiad, he looks like Hulk Hogan, too much in fact, so I changed him a bit.

A little update: added gills, changed the pointy lip, and tried to take away a little of the Hogan look plus added some minor details.
I still have a problem with the eyes, though, even without pupils he looks a little cross-eyed. Still working on it.

I have been away for awhile, but found some time today to try out some bump for this guy.
It’s just a test, let me know where I err.
Oh, … by the way, I Was going for a bit too heavy skin-cells, to get a more ‘fishy’ feel (don’t know if I express myself right here)

I got a bit stuck, so I had some fun with him.
Before you put all the silly stuff on it I was thinking it would look really
good with a jade material. Maybe part of your trouble with the eyes is
the angle of the socket as previous reference shows. I reckon its’ great!
I like the beard design very much! Very sculptural and artistic.
Looks like a good head to me…
Now make him a muscular body…
And a trident forged from the finest metal…
Set him on a good rock in a sea, in the midst of a fierce tempest…
Let the sea be filled with sirens…
