again the lepricon better rendered. Off to the next one!
fantastic render!!!
Started as bust but decided to make it all the way. All is from spheres pulling cutting in etc. each video is about an hour of sculpitng. these rock shapes are going to be a pain. Wait a while if the videos aren’t availabe.

While this isn’t my favorite look for the Ever Lovin’ Blue Eyed Thing, your sculpt of it is proceeding quite well. For me, the Thing will always be the way George Perez and Joe Sinnott drew him. Every other version just falls short IMO.
@Phil Clark thnx for the comment and I can understand what you’re saying. I grew reading comic books of during the 90’s area and my influances are all from that aera.
progress small, but very time consuming, still lots to do and still in the blocking of the rocks fase. All rendered in zbrush single pass 3 lithgs. Nothign special but still I think it’s presentable. cheers C&C’s please.

Slooooowwwwwwww detailing. About an hour of detailling. Maybe next week I’ll finish him. Whos idea was it to make him full? Stupid!

I did just notice something. On the hands, it looks like you are missing a joint on each finger and on the thumb. The Thing still has the same number of bones per finger as we do, he just has one less finger per hand. So if you look at the source design images and your model so far, his fingers in your model appear a bit stubby since they are missing the final bone and joint at the tip of the fingers. Detailing is looking good.
Thnx you’re right. I forgot about it. Next image will be better! cheers and thnx again!

Hey there a new one. Lens effects in photoshop other than that simple pass renders from zbrush composited in photoshop
this is based on a scetch from cghub and the artist is Josh Singh
About 8 hours of work all from spheres and extractions
Lots of great stuff!
LAtest apdate on the guy, some turntable renders a video and a final shot. I think he came out nice, not that it looks exactly like the original, but that wasnt the perpose anyway. Cheers C&C’s as always needed and most welcome.
