Really cool stuff in here, keep that up!
Awesome Anatomy sculpts man!!
I think they look natural. This is what I like about them.
Great sculpts and studies
Finally a new sculpt! Did this one in fits and starts over a long time. Initially inspired by a drawing by Wesley Burt, eventually enlisted my wife to model parts of the body for added realism. What looks natural is thanks to her, what sucks is entirely my fault.
I wish my day job forced me to use zbrush daily and keep me in shape, because otherwise I get too lazy. Also, I can say with increasing confidence that I detest elbows and knees.
A few more views, plus the usual, embarrassing wips…

Darn this is good. Keep them going nagulov !
Nice Sculpt I like the feel and nice curves. Good job
thanks!
I wanted to sculpt a ‘real’ woman, not the usual athletic and/or voluptuous type we tend to make. Also, sitting normally, a bit hunched even. Although you could argue her gaze is rather provocative.
I love your last sculpt. The fat on her feels very naturtal - good job!
Did you sculpt her from a live model (even a memory or photo), or did you work from nothing? To me she feels like a real person.
The wifey must have been very happy and flattered you used her as a live nude reference to sculpt a “real” woman ;). You forever immortalized her by digitally sculpting her. I really like the nice natural curves you gave her. Makes her more grounded and closer to reality. Good stuff.
I started from a single drawing by Wesley Burt, then asked my wife to pose for photos, once the drawing proved inadequate in providing detail necessary for a realistic sculpt to look good. I actually had her pose several times for closeups, as the sculpt changed from the initial drawing. No way I could sculpt this just from memory! The face was done from no reference, though, just sculpting a female head.
@seraph769
Mostly she was bemused as I asked her to take more and more clothes off! But it was for art!
Ahahaha that’s kind of funny that she is confused as to what’s going on while you tell her to take each piece of clothing gradually :lol:. I could imagine you telling her to get naked gradually and tell her “it’s for art honey”!! Makes for a good role play if you know what I mean ;). Anyways I hope you do more of these sculpts. Reminds me a lot of the old classical sculptures and paintings.
Hey Nagulov, nice one here, I really like her ^^ Love the curves and proportions.
I just think that the interaction between her body and the bench would deserves a bit more attention. I don’t feel like she’s flying, but showing a bit more weight with skin folds, fat and stuff would be cool. Not saying she’s a fatty ! She just feels a bit light to me.
Otherwise great work ^^
Hey Boulp,
I see what you mean. I actually do have sagging skin under the thighs where the legs meet the bench, but it’s hard to see from the angles I’ve chosen. Even so, I probably should have paid more attention to it, but at that point I was already burned out on the whole sculpt and wanted to move on. I was kinda hoping the squished buttock would sell the weight, but I guess I should have pushed it a bit more. Thanks for the comment!
And hey, even if you WERE saying she’s a fatty, so what? I’m thinking I should have made her even chubbier, as a contrast to all the slim models we usually see.
I like her. Very natural and unpretentious pose.
@Nagulov
Hahaha I totally agree with you. Don’t worry if contrast you wanted, contrast you found !
Again nice one ^^
So here’s a new sculpt. Things to note – it took me slightly less time to do than usual, which I’ll count as progress. Also, I tried to use clay and standard more, in addition to my usual workhorse brush, the clay buildup. It was strange. Sculpting whole hands out of lumps was kinda fun. I used two different ref photos, one for the front and another, similarly posed, for the back – having both angles helped tremendously. Go figure.

Bonus GenericMuscleMan nobody will look at, along with the usual small wip for the lady nude.
