Chill - The caterpillar Zif Base was something I made when Zifās were born (1.55 I believe). So unfortunately no. I thought about making it again but I decided that retopo would be better to record then Zsphere creation (maybe my error in thinkingā¦time will tell). Damn I talk in parenthesis too much. :o
That is so true, bugs just make the best subjects to do cool things! Nice to watch you work.

Since this is really becoming a bug thread i thought i would share my
ant wip. started this tonight and have done the basic body part.
No detailing done yet. IĀ“m going to make the head, feet and antennas separately. IĀ“m going to try to make it as detailed as i as a neewbie can get. 
Hopefully you can give me some pointers during the progress.

MTB could you record a zscript on the first part of the claw? IĀ“m still missing how to do the scaling, edgelooping and pulling the parts into one another.
Major masses modeling (Phase one) is done.
Just a quick update. Modeling Video is coming soon.
Want to speed it up and resize it.
What are you using those attractor spheres for in the cat. base model? I think I am going to tackle the base model tomorrow. I did some experimenting with ZSpheres today - using the practical guide - and am feeling more comfortable with them. Thank you for posting your progress and vids!

yes i would say that right now it looks a little strange without the body texture, but the head is detailedā¦
In addition to my last question, what are the odds of you posting the ZTool of the caterpillar base mesh? I am having a hard time seeing the ZSphere layout in that pic. Thank you in advance.

Chill - The Attractors are just another way to control the mesh flow. As for posing, I am going to learn rigging with the caterpillar. There isnāt a zsphere structure with it now because I skinned it then used retopo to change the mesh flow. Right now its a polymesh and not a Zif.

Could you please record a script for the claw process? The part when you are scaling, pulling and polygrouping. IĀ“m still a bit confused over that part

The zscript took forever because, sorry to say, Z3 is wicked buggy. Things missing, functions not working properly if not at all. Itās ruff. That and an old system too. This zscript would be ALOT more helpful if I could get it to work like Z2 does.

Man, what can i say? youĀ“re an absolute hero!
The script showed exactly what i needed to know.
I set the zscript preferenceses to show every thing you did
so i found out the scaling and edge looping ātricksā 
I really wish i could repay you somehow manā¦ Maby in a
couple of years or soā¦ 
I saw that youĀ“re using After effects. IĀ“ve been using it for some years now.
If you need any help in that area maby i have a couple of tricks up my sleaveā¦
