Your robot is really something else! I’d love to see a breakdown of the render and final composit if you’re willing to share? small_orange_diamond

Amazing job. Really liking your last two pieces.
@Eiad: thank you, sir. glad you like them
@cherub_rock: my psd files always look a mess but I’ll try to organize it and post a breakdown.
Hey there,
here are a couple of creature busts I made recently using dynamesh and the insert brushes. nothing fancy, just thought I should share
sorry, I will post a break down of the robot render soon!
Critters!!!
You got some very cool stuff in here. Man I wish I had gotten into the anatomy masterclass before it closed!! See you in the CDR2!!
Aaaye Hendrik! great stuff man! Love the LBP take on yourself thats awesome! the fishing frog turned out great too, love the little touches like the lizard on his… horn? all your work always has a nice clean finish to it. nicely done
Hey, thanks a lot, Sam!
I’ve actually retouched the Sackboy in Photoshop recently. I thought it looked too dark and desaturated, especially with the dark background. I like it much better now.
I think I’m gonna open a new sketchbook soon where I’ll put all the Creature Design stuff. haven’t posted here in ages oO
is the cloth stitch a bump map or did you sculpt each thread? lol looks much better now, bright and sparky like the way LBP is suppose to be
haha yeah I noticed after I posted that the last post was in 2011 lol great progress all the same mate! I think Ryan is going to pose a Creature Design R2 thread like he did with the Anatomy class. should be good.
oh cool, I guess I have to put some more work into my CD2R2 models. haven’t done anything since the crit.
the stitching is from a map and I displaced the actual geometry. it looks too clean for having sculpted it by hand
but this was one of my first zbrush models and a lot has happened since then…
really fun work in your sketchbook mate, your latest character is really cool! Are the stitches sculpted or made with the Noisemaker?
Definantly keep it going and looking forward seeing more from ya
Cheers,
- Kenny
