Thats a really nice sculpt !
And an amazing render.
Looking forward to seeing your ‘making of’ and more sculpts from you.
Fantastic !!!

Great sculpt and contemplative pose - really captured the ‘feel’ of
real-world clay also :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

Excellent Work!!!:+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: I have also been impressed with Maddam’s incredible V-Ray renders and downloaded the V-Ray Maya demo version. Look foward to seeing a making of for this guy!

Wow. Very impressive work of art you have produced. I love the render as well.

TOP ROW WORK!!!

Peace,

NickZ.

Harsh.

very clean work , great render - top notch:+1:

great work, myonly crit is there is too much dof, the back of this thing on witch the head is way too blurry  I would be very interested in the making of ;]

Dixit Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin

Frankie is always welcome here. This is a beautiful rendition of one of the all time great monsters, and possibly characters.

Thank all again.
Especially thanks maddam.

I have tried to make some pictures of this work. (making of)
If you will have any questions, ask me.

ooh!, …many pics
And max scene:01.jpg02.jpg04.jpg05.jpg07.jpg08.jpg09.jpg10.jpgMonster_01.zip (68.4 KB)

Excellent work, thanks for Making of , it’s interesting

Thanks for the making of!!

One question - Why do you have to convert to V-Ray mesh before rendering?

(Nevermind about this problem, I got the zip to open with WinRar)
And, I tried to open the attached zip file but I got a “it does not appear to be a valid archive” error. Anyone else been able to open the zip?

…for decompress
Here a real Zip (not a RAr) :slight_smile:Monster_01.zip (90 KB)

A really interesting making-of, very well done.

Thanks for sharing !

Bye !

Wonderful modeling. I love the understated work on the wrinkles and skin blemishes. It’s so easy to overdo the detailing. Well deserved Top Row. :+1:

Awsome. And thanks for the insight into you’re process. I know this may sound a bit stupid but I was wondering if you could post an example of the Alpha/Brush stroke you used on the jacket for the thread texture and how you got that on the model all going in the proper direction. I’m working on pants and a coat for a character of mine now and that step has me bamboozeled.

Many thanks for taking the time to do this “making of” tutorial.
You have already helped me improve my work.
And congrats on the deserved top row !! :+1:
