My 3D Sketching Stuff (nudity)

Very well done!

Ughh I will forever be jealous of how clean and great your rendering is! Great job as always man.

Thanks everyone!

masc, The fur is done using a custom alpha of a short clump of hair, then applied to a scatterbrush. After rendering, the fur was blurred slightly then I used the smear tool in Photoshop along the edges of the fur to give it a fluffier appearance.

Derek, it was either the trunks, or him lying on a nude beach! They opted for adding the trunks.

EricShawn, I very much appreciate the vote of confidence. But there’s so much awesome talent in the forums these days, that I think the bar for top row is set so much higher than what it used to be, no matter what industry is represented.

polaroid29, when I get more in tune with the new LightCap and BPR system, I’ll make another tutorial of my rendering and material workflow.

Here’s a few more images from the project. I think my favorite was of the frog singing.

Love the dog the frog the poses, everything. Cant wait for tut…

Gorgeous works, so much life in them. I’m a big fan of your little frog there, he’s marvellous.

Those characters are really good! I like the consistent style, and the rendering quality! Nice work.

wow!
nice renders man!
can you share the skin shader? It’s so good looking!

really ammazing cartoons!! congrats

Your rendering is fantastic! Very clean work!

Sweet !! I love your cartoony stuff, definitely the frog !!!

Awesome work! :+1:

Glad everyone seems to like these more cartoony characters! I hope I get more work like this in the future.

Been back to working on that Nun again. Here’s a render in it’s present state. I would say it’s final, but I see some things that I may tweak again at a later date. I’m picky like that.

This was modeled in ZBrush4 and rendered in ZBrush 4R2 using the new LightCap and BPR systems plus about an hour of Photoshop postwork. The only things not ZBrush are the white door on the left and the back wall. Way to go Pixo for coming up with such a brilliant way to render!

EDIT: I brightened up the image a bit. Seems that my monitor at home makes the image look brighter than what it really is…

That is super cool !!! Nice work !!:+1:

Very nice! The face speaks volumes. :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

Wow, I really like your renders ! Very good job :+1:

Love the way you have captured and projected outward an inner emotion in this image of the nun…Lots of great detail throughout the entire image, but you have managed to keep it secondary in a great way, and have kept the focus on that inner emotion being projected outward…Outstanding example of the use of the focal point principle…:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

It’s looking good! Good job on the fabrics. I like the soft lighting, too.

Top Row! :+1:

This really should go top row, if just for the robe.

Great work.

:+1:

As always, very talented and artfull work.
Five stars and top row.
