Watched it again, like many others said, this does make you tear up lol, really amazing, truly a concept artist’s dream like others said also. You guys are truly unique with your software and innovation!
I’m really happy because I had doubts a few months ago about how much more Zbrush would advance with Zbrush 3.5 and 4 as I thought Zbrush 3 itself was really the peak, but with this, you blew my mind and revolutionized again, it’s like magic, all the ZSphere stuff, it’s exactly what Zbrush needed for the next big step! Love also the planar brush and noise feature, really great, people will be concept-modeling hardsurface stuff now too on Zbrush!

it’s entirely fair enough to be sceptical. and it makes for a refreshing post amongst all the ball lickin’ that’s dominating this thread. the big question will be how well this is actually implemented. i’m incredibly nervous that they’ve again created a fantastic feature. but given no mind to a rational workflow

As with most others in this thread I’m super excited to get using 3.5. The hard surface brushes look faaaantastic! I really can’t wait for the zsphere stuff as well. Seems like it will be more akin to the whole adding clay/sculpey to an armature type workflow used by traditional sculptors.
I’m sure the hold up on GoZ is to make sure it’s rock solid and works with Max/XSI so no worries Pixologic team!
One thing though, the user base could REALLY use layered psd support!!!
ZApplink…GREAT stuff!!!..but the output is flattened!! What happens if the art director loves everything BUT the spots on the character and wants those removed/hue changed/wtfever? It’s this sort of stuff that really hurts the workflow. As something that has been requested going on a few years now can we please have layered PSD support.
I am VERY appreciative of all the hard work you folks at Pixologic put in each and every day. I mean, you have single handedly been one of the most vital parts of a massive Digital Renaissance Period in the art world. This is no small feat! You have made my life MUCH easier and my work MUCH more enjoyable every single day. For that I am very, very thankful.
