Bonecradle et al.
Here’s the next version, MoldyTool 1.7 with the XYZ edit buttons added.
I had to move other buttons around to get it all to fit (real estate is dear in the modeling tools column).
Note that the combined XYZ button is represented by the tilde “~” button in Moldy. Also note I’ve made it impossible to turn off all three axes at the same time. This means that you have to have at least one individual axis selected (X, Y or Z) before de-selecting the “~” button.
[edit] MoldyTool ver1.7a made a subtle change to the XYZ button function, so now they just warn you not to turn all axes off at the same time… and will not let you do so.
[end Edit]
I hope this doesn’t confuse anyone… but I was afraid to make it so that new users might find the vertices “frozen” and not really understand why.
To any new users who might download and try MoldyTool: press the “What’s Moldy?” button for a little overview of how all the other buttons work.
Any feedback (bugs found and/or comments on Moldy’s usefulness or points of confusion, etc.) would be appreciated.
I hope this helps BC…
Sven
