What you could do is export the lowest subdivision model to maya/xsi/max and
fill the holes of the eyes, mouth and neck with polygons. Then import it again
and use “project all” to get your details back onto your new mesh. Having
open areas can become a real pain, because those edges are essentially
pinned in space. Hope that helps.

oh no I didn’t mean that, the other heads are the same way, its fine, I mean the fatboy’s starting form (see the original idea) was so deformed in a stylized way that I had to redo the entire idea of who he was. and now that being said I’m scrapping the fatguy completely for now and focusing on the ****y guy.

UM why is the word c o c k y censored? It’s not a bad word. It’s an attitude. Will they censor *****willow too?

after posting my corrected model I figured to step in and update the other one as well. In doing so I think I accidently created a either a new leader of the four or a very sinister hostile character, as contracted by his somewhat pitiful beginnings

I’ve reworked the larger guy, images toMorrow, also shader tests are done with only one textur to overall color. Obviously realism will be increased as I add more maps.

The pompous one is left, yay!

I should totally be doing animation homework right now, but c’mon ^he’s coming out great :stuck_out_tongue:

Just found your thread - the facial rig test was very nicely done - I graduated as an animator, but find myself doing as much, if not more, sculpting as animation these days and I miss it sometimes.

Also, word of advice - make sure when you make updates you only add to or edit previous image posts until your thread is off the recently used rows at the top of the page - don’t make completely new posts until your image has left those two rows of images - Pixologic will become unhappy with you otherwise:).

I like the face a lot - not often people sculpt fat that is believable - I know the ears are not completed yet, but I think the ears would look great with cauliflower ear on one side though - he looks like a big bruiser and should have a messed up ear, lol

As to service - those that deserve our thanks the most are not around to receive it …

well I’m glad you enjoyed it, the file corrupted itself and now I have to redo what I did from the post before last
