nice starts matt.
see below:
I’ve had little time to sketch freely, but I found a few min so I tweaked and added to the above sketch, about a half hour more on this one.

hey man, good start on the guy. What reference are you looking at? It looks to me your going for a body builder, I would google Body Builder anatomy, I found a really good chart that shows the muscle tone of a body builder. Im not an anatomy expert, I am still learning my self. But at first glance His leg muscles are way to large and droopy. They just look like tumors hanging off his legs, also his arms are to lumpy. And I really do not see any real anatomy in his back. The front is coming along I would work on his abs. His mouth needs to come out a little, the corners of your lips usually line up with the middle of your eye. His ear needs to come down just a smudge, and it should be rotated a little back. the angle of his head and then having his ear completely vertical does not feel right. Other than that keep working, practice makes perfect. Just look at reference.
I’m not using a reference, which is probably why the anatomy is a little off. I was hoping to go for a more superhero like build which is why the legs are so bulky. And yea the back I’ve basically been putting off lol. I agree on the face, this initially was a speed sculpt, so I haven’t really touched the face since the post but all your crits are spot on. I’ll adjust the legs and attempt the back soon.
Thanks for the feed back
okay I decided to quickly block in a back. Im using a medical illustration of the muscles:

adjusted the legs and shoulders and arms
im satisfied with that

Im going to talk a little bit about the hatter animation above, seeing as Zbrush was my primary tool for it.
the rig used for this is based on Jason Osipa’s rig, however I overhauled the entire thing:
[.jpg%27,1,0%29"]](http://javascript%3Cb%3E%3C/b%3E:zb_insimg%28%27170380%27,%27pooph[1)
I did this work over this semester and plan on continue the rig. His body is rigged but I am planning on altering the topology of it before reataching the head, using zbrush to do so no doubt.
Animation test is very impressive…
great work!!
