Wow, Maddy. Ive missed lots of fantastic stuff here! I can
t wait to see your next updates.
@Monray: Thanks!
@HellGrind: Thank you! And yea, the rigger/skinner was still a bit new with it all so I’m glad that he only had minor mistakes with the final poses. =P
@Sinhouse: This will be a title release, the only catch is that it’ll be free And I think you’re right about the channels, I had a lot of hard time with those when I got into it. And thanks!
@Jerick: Thanks a lot
@Geert_Etcher_Melis: Thanks! Hahaha oh, that gives me some ideas!
@Moni-Poroni: Thank you, as always! I hope I don’t dissapoint!
Here’s an African american female head study. Still very WIP and not a lot of details added. No love in the ears yet, anyone have some sweet ear ref? Suggestions, critiques, anything welcome.

great head.
Its a good start. For ears. The helix attachment to the head could use work.
Deviantart has some great stock photography which you could probably find an African woman’s ear. 3d.sk is great too but costs a monthly fee.
The eyes are strange since they are symmetric on the upperlid. Also your missing and indentation next the remainder of eyelid (pink tissue nearest the nose). This indentation is pretty criticaly because it defines part of the skull socket and is visible on most people’s faces.
Thanks guys
Here’s some WIP of mine from Polycount’s BRAWL challenge. If you don’t already know, this is Olimar from SSBB.

The character looks great, but not much like olimar. I would push the dwarf proportions more. The pikmin is terrifying.
It’s my interpretation of him, a complete redesign (which is basically the point of Polycount’s Brawl challenge). I decided to keep some necessary elements used to recognize him, such as the pikmin and the antenna light on his helmet, his hair, his squinty eyes, and his pointy ears.
Little paint over and pikmin colour variations…still a very rough sculpt. Back to work again!

looking forward to seeing more of your work on the pikmin
