It must be some kind of huge operation for them to stay there all day and night just to barely sneak it in before the clock strikes 12. I’m sure effort’s not the hold up. Resources, maybe, I don’t know the size of the company.
Yeah, I can’t figure out the reason why they always wait until the eleventh hour either. I guess all we can really do right now is down another foot-long, put our feet up, and throw back a cold one: This game is going into extra innings.

I really understand where some of you are coming from, but in all honesty you people are being really childish. Pixologic stretched the release date for 3.0 if you don’t remember.
It’s obvious to me that Pixologic has a real challenge programming for OSX.
This **** ain’t easy to pull off. There are issues with the Windows version and we all know the frustration.
So I say be patient , Pixo is one of the last small and friendly software companies left, and I wish them all the best to stay that way.
Mac users will have ZBrush very soon.

I keep scratching my head trying to figure out what pixo is doing right now.
Are they compiling the program as we speak while at the same time are preparing the list of the people that will receive the email? And let’s not forget the actual email that needs to be sent. All of which should be ready days ago and might I day weeks.
This confirms my previous assumption that pixo is really a tiny company. 5 or maximum 10 people. With such a small team it’s easy to get swamped with such simple tasks.
man I just want to Z up some of these meshes, use some of the methods I’ve been checking out in the months since I ordered, create pieces of art unrivelled by my photoshop illustrations, but most of all, have a good old fashoned play with a new program. Danm this waiting!

I just received the email, and got a cleverbridge reference… no download link though, just a message:

Ok is that right, if i forked out money today, I would get it today? But seeing as I’ve been registered and waiting patiently, checking the site nearly every day, I have to wait? (I’m using I figuratively, including all you guys in it) Unfortunately I dont have 500 bucks hanging about to test this theory, Aurick if your about could you PLEASE clear this up?

I’m starting to feel like I’m part of some sick halloween joke. I bought this over 2 years ago at Siggraph and am STILL waiting for a working mac version. I must say that this is the last version I’ll buy up front. What a terrible way to treat your customers.
Take it easy people. I am as frustrated as you are that I had to wait for the Mac version a year longer that the Windose users, but it’s just a piece of software. They are not releasing the solution to world hunger!
I am sure that Pixologic is not holding back a few hours/days longer just to spite us. Well…let’s hope not.
Just received my e-mail regarding the MAC upgrade. However, after verifying my registration details I got a message that due to ‘technical problems’ there is a delay in processing the software delivery (download), which they (Cleverbridge) working on resolving within the next 2 working days.
see my edit… in the email it says you can only click on the link ONCE for it to work.
so, if you’ve clicked and gotten then error, then that’s it.
I only clicked once and I got an error, so that’s not the problem.
and when you clicked a second time, did you get the same error?
