I’m not really ruffled since I knew we would each have to wait our turn to download our copy of Z3, but I really did expect a bit more pomp and circumstance after all the build up. Except for the market taking a nosedive, it seems just like another ordinary day - not the grand Z-Day I was anticipating. Nothings ever the way you imagine it. 
Just a quick update for everyone:
Everything is looking great, and we’re planning to send out the first batch of upgrade links tomorrow as per the confirmation email that everyone received after filling out the upgrade form.
On a related note, we’ve been able to push the price increase back until the first upgrade links go out. That means an extra 24 hours of being able to get ZBrush for the Mac for $489.
Thanks for the heads up, aurick. Great to hear everything is on schedule! 
it’s funny that they don’t mind missing one deadline after another.
What I found out so far about pixo is that their schedule dates act as a rough estimation.
It could be a day or two after the date they give or sometimes more than a year… But never on the day they post.
So don’t expect 3.5 by the end of this year…
or v3.1 for mac… :lol:
So what was the point of the September 29th release date? Nothing really happened today. Did they just overshoot it?
I guess Pixologic is just gonna squeeze the last second of the “It’s still September 29th ‘somewhere’ argument.” Meaning when we finally get 3.1, they’ll say “It’s still September 29th on Pluto, ya know.”

I wish I could be mad, but the damn software is too killer. I’ve been zbrushing for 2 straight weeks in bootcamp out of sheer anticipation, and it’s just too cool for me to hold anything against them. Even a missed release date after a year and a half delay. Now that’s some kick ass software, man. 
Anyone know a sure date or time it will be public? what about the trial???

According to Pixolator’s post a day or so ago emails should start going out any time after about 8pm in the UK (if my calculation is correct!) that’s about 11 and a half hours from now.
@ ajoe and Michel, thanks for the info. 1.3gb isn’t so bad, I was worried I might struggle to download in 48hrs but that should be OK.

on sept 15th i got this confimation mail from pixologic
“This email is to notify you that we’ve received your RSVP for ZBrush 3.12 on the Mac. Your upgrade will be processed once the new version has been released on September 30.”
When did you receive yours and has anyone gotten their link yet?

Well at the moment no one will get anything. It’s 5 in the morning there.
So we’ll just have to wait at least 12 more hours… And that’s only for the people who filled out the form early…
Well i was hoping i would have a link when i woke up this morning, pixo seem to often do things at midnight… but if I am one of the early birds it looks like it will be here for dinner time
