Leucotom Cavalier

Hey guys! how cool is the new ZBC!!! very excited about all the new features.

For my first post in the #newzbc I thought it would be appropriate to share my latest personal project, the Leutocom Cavalier which is all done in ZBrush and rendered with #BPR (photoshop for compositing). Here is the final image:

I did a bunch of color variation tests for this one using #Polypaint and masks, these are some of the ones I shared before:

Most people who commented suggested the first option (the blueish with 'gold), but I really liked the red one haha so I went with that. However, I set up everything in photoshop to easily change things, so here is the alternative render:

And here is the ZBrush model:

UPDATE: If you are curious about the compositing of this image and the render passes, here is a link to my other topic where you can download: The CHEAT SHEET for compositing

For a second there I thought this was a new Pascal Blanche piece, with those contrasting saturated colors and the whole abstract vibe going. >_< But awesome piece this! Nice how those details come out and wonderful use of colors. I’m totally agreeing on your choice for the red one.

Ahh I seen it. Amazing job - very simple to understand and start doing on your own.
Thanks! Hope I will be able to do better bpr renders now

One can never second guess what you’ll create next.
I concur Doctor that you made the best choice in going for the red design .
