Beautiful piece Leo!
Only one thing slightly detracts in my eyes; the football looks monochrome, which maybe sits it in with the background?
If it had some hints of ochres and umbers in it, then, for me at least, the image would be about the boy’s love of football, and not just about the boy.
Maybe the body texturing needs some dirtying up too
(I’m a picky b@$t@rd, aren’t I
