Here is my latest sculpt. Started life as a Dynamesh sphere for the head and another for the body.
Still a way to go but thought I’d share my progress. Comment and critique always welcome.
Thanks.

Today’s progress.
A few tweaks before bed time.
Still needs lots of work to polish this sculpt up, but learnt a lot so far.
Thought I’d share my latest progress with you guys.
Still got a way to go on this sculpt. Let me know what you think.
Thanks.
Hey,
i think the body looks great! Nice detailing in the muscles. - But I dunno about the thinness and the length of the neck. Maybe the proportions would work better, if the shoulders weren’t so massive? (in comparsion to the neck and shoulders).
Keep on going.
Mauk
Hey Mauk
Thanks for the feedback. I’ll try a version with narrower shoulders.
Here’s the current state of the sculpt.
Hey Mauk,
I think you are right. Here is a version with narrower shoulders. Definitely feeling it a bit more, but I think I might have made the body a touch too small now. But digging this direction more.
Thanks
very nice i like your last one, you are surely inproveing but i do think that the sholders are really wide on the model you made a weak ago,i can see your anatomy is really inproveing,do you mind shareing how you detail your muscles? is it alphas? hand made detail?
well keep up the great work
Hey 3D-User
Thanks for the positive feedback.
I am really trying to develop my anatomy and concepting workflow.
I detail my muscles by hand with the Clay build up brush on a very low intensity, then come in with some very light surface noise. I hope that helps. Its something I a really trying to develop to give the muscles a sense of stretch and strain. Still not 100% happy with how they look but I guess its all a learning curve.
Here are some ‘thumbnailing’ sessions I have been working on. As always C & C welcome.
Thanks
cool concepting but if you ask me i find that too meny spikes are boring but keep it up i plan on seeing more of your work
These are cool.
-But if I was to offer the most constructive of crits, it would be that even though you have gone through and made iterative changes, I personally would break the silhouette a lot more than you have. Larger horns, bumps that push out of the rounded crest of the skull or even something horned out of the head and the shoulder might vastly improve your efforts so far…
Thanks for the feedback guys.
3d User: I have been using the liquify tool for these iterations. It seems to work well with horns but can be quite limiting in pushing the silhouette
Koro: I agree with you completely. I was a little to timid in breaking the original silhouette. I need to be loser.
Here is a little torso sculpt / anatomy study, with some BPR to finish.
nice but i think that the torso muscles should be pushed out more and they should dig into the deltolds more and im not sure if the neck mucles are correct but over all very nice work
Hey 3d User
Thanks for the pointers. Your feedback is invaluable.
I will address these pointers in my next sculpt.
Cheers.
A bit of Dynamesh fun.
cool work i like the hands…hehe. ok so here is a few small pointers the bellybutton is soposed to be at the bottom of the middle abb. and as trapezius i do believe its soposed to go up into the neck a tad bit more and i think your adding to much noise to your model [Noise is detail too much detail makes the people who are looking at it not know whare to focus but very nice sculpt i enjoy seeing your work here keep it up
Hey 3D User
Thank you so much for your crits they are so useful and concise. As soon as I moved the beely button it looked a better.
I have tried to incorporate them into this pose. Still needs work, but the idea is getting there.
Thanks again.
