I realy love your igor model. One of my favorites from all the betaimages here
but hmmm… the folds of the latest update are looking stange to me
Mister Costa, incredible work as usual!
Would you mind sharing with us your machine’s specs? How dense are these models?
Thanks guys.
Here’s a small update.
I started assembling the scene in Maya and rendering with Mental Ray. I re-did the whole UVs in Maya to avoid seems on the clothing. Still need to fix the reflections on his right eye. The color map is pretty basic and wip right now and I still need to paint all the other maps. Doesn’t really matter at this point, since the image is b&w anyways
Still need to add the paper with the text “do not use this brain! - ABNORMAL -” LOL
I used paint effects for the eyebrows but I still need to tweak it and add some eyebrows texture to the model, so it can blend with the actual model. More to come on the next days… hopefully.

haha - awesome Kris!
The complete model with all the sub-tools combined has about 15 million polys I think. The body+head only is like 7 million polys.
My machine is an old Boxx Workstation, dual Opteron 248 with only 2GB RAM and a Quadro FX 3000. This is nothing in comparison to the new dual and quad core systems…

Hi Antropus. His looking really cool. I have a question…You say you re-did the uv’s. Did your model not go all screwy when you reImported into zbrush? I’ve tried this and when i go up in devisios my model gets all freaky.
Thanks for your time.
Cheers
Brett
Looks really nice mate, i think more reflective material for the eyes would add allot to the pic like you said… my only crit would be on the unshaded renders above… the calfs look really odd, more like he has a couple of tennis balls in his trousers… as you have said before these are part of his character but do tend to stick out like a sore thumb, maybe lessen them alittle, but apart from that top notch as usual .
I always loved Marty Feldman and this model is shaping up to be superb. Really looking forward to seeing the completed render. Excellent work!
Thanks for your comments.
brettSinclair,
it works perfectly. There are a bunch of threads here at ZBrushCentral about how to solve any problems you might have.
About the weird joints, well, I don’t know what they’ve put inside of his clothes to make the joints to look weird but here is a pic that shows a profile:
Now, looking at the pic, I think I should exaggerate a little more

Haha, fantastic!
Hump??? Which hump???
Lemo
Oh cool thanks. I’ll be sure to search for them then.
Hey, wait a minute… Wasn’t his hump on the other side?!!

@BrettSinclair: If your ZTool goes screwy after re-importing a level1 mesh, it’s likely your 3D app re-ordered the verts when importing (from the ZB generated OBJ) or exporting (a new OBJ, with the clean UVs to ZB).
@Antropus: Wicked sculpt. Seems quite a lengthy workflow to get the results, but good results nonetheless “Fronkensteeeeeen!”
Great fun! I love it.
Simply astounding.
ha ha… looking at the ref it really does look like they used tennis balls, i suppose it just comes down to accuracy or astetics and which is more visually pleasing.
Looks great kris! You have to do the label on the jar to make it complete, as you mentioned. It is so funny that I never noticed those tennis balls at his joints before. That will give me a good reason to watch the movie again.
Make that a double feature and watch silent movie after that!
Don’t forget the popcorn!
Lemo
I could have swore Igor’s hump is on the right side and not the left
