Hi Kraken! Santa looks great (even at Easter!)! Thanks for repointing us to the tut and mat !
Here’s the final Nativity illustration. The clothing folds could use a bit more work, but time was an issue on this one (as usual).
I experimented on the rendering on this one and rendered it in grayscale then brought into Photoshop for coloring. I figured that I would need to do some color correction anyways in Photoshop so I could also bypass any coloring work needed in ZBrush. But I found that it would have been faster if I would have just colored the models in ZBrush first since segmenting the clothes to color them took much longer than I thought which cut into the time for polishing everything up more. But the client liked it which is the important thing.
Beautiful Chris.
wow! excellent work, just like your other pieces.
I like the final image. Very good work and nice lighting
Exceptional work!

Beautiful work!
looks great
Hi Kraken! The image is beautifull! Impressive work, and so fast!
Here was a quick and simple Fleur De Lis Mardi Gras design that was requested by a client. It’s not as in depth as most of my other stuff, about 1.5 hours with ZBrush and Photoshop. In essence, one of my most productive pieces timewise.
damn nice work kraken!!! really. i saw your santa a long time ago… and it was one reason i tried zbrush.
you are one of the best zbrush-artists i think.
not much to say about the last one. nice and clean!
nice !!! but I don´t like the background… the mountains look too simple
cool lis flower, mate
Thanks, guys!
Wethand - Your making me blush, man…
pitchepuck - Yep. Totally agree. The Nativity scene was definitely rushed. Had to get it in on deadline. The whole background suffered a bit, but the client liked it and it went in their line so all’s good.
Love the subtle textures and colors on the Fleur De Lis!
so beautiful ! 5 stars for your works!
