Nice statue of the Golden Avenger! Yeah, this Iron Man design brings back some great memories of when I was a kid. I loved the way Gene Colan drew Iron Man, and Daredevil back then. I managed to get a couple original comic pages by Gene Colan and had him autograph them years later. Unfortunately, they weren’t of Iron Man or Daredevil. 
That’s still quite an accomplishment! There was a charm of the artwork that was produced in that era. You begin to appreciate it more when you attempt to sculpt keeping their principles in check. People may interpret these sculpts as simple to do, but honestly, it takes alot of eyeing to get them just right.

I’m back with a small update.
Mumm-Ra finally got unveiled a few days ago over at MTV Geek.
Which means I can finally upload some relevant images :D.
This bad boy is 26" tall. Will upload more views when I am able to.
As always, all digital aspects of this piece have been done within Zbrush alone.

Overall it looks great( thundercat **** rocks! ), but the biceps and forearm look…strange from the front. The bicep doesn’t look elongated enough compared with the forearm, which makes the arms look a little stubby. Just my opinion, but your client didn’t seem to mind so my opinion is null and void:D.

Haven’t posted here in ages.
I’m excited to display one of my recent projects, Joe Fixit, a classic version of the Incredible Hulk, sculpted for Bowen Designs.
I’ve also included the reference image that inspired the piece. The idea was not to match the artwork, but take the essence from it and present my own interpretation.
Got some great input on the piece from Bowen Designs as well.
Had a lot of fun making this one!
