Zbrush was 9/10 from perfection, now its +10000000 perfection, this is what was missing from zbrush, i bought zbrush last year, i got into it i started sculpting and loved it, i thought right, good a cool model, i want to render it in 3d s max…right how do i do this, i know bump slot!, er no, no way the quality of detail in zbrush, but now its a simple 1 button click and its all set up for you which could take you 30 minutes to an hour, wish i could give back to the pixologic team because your giving us so much and for free, name me a company that builds things to help the customers and gives it to them for free? with decimation, 3d print, and now go zbrush, feels like im dreaming. all 3 great plugins which will change the cg pipeline for ever. and all thanks to you! all hear PIXOLOGIC TEAM
why not for 3ds max???
Amazing
holy ****balls. This is the best invention since birth control
LightWave! LightWave! LightWave!
We want Lightwave! It was one of the first 3D programs for the Mac.
C’mon baby, Mama wants some LW.
I wonder if the reason for not mentioning the 3ds max plugin, is the infamous vertex-reorder issue … x]
Anyways, that are really good news!

When is GoZ going to be available?
Does anyone knows this?
I think i am in Heaven!. Didn’t read all thread, but are you Z-Guys gonna make connection with XSI too.
Awesomeness…Bravo to Pixologic…the dream button is coming…GoZ
I would love a retop feature that easy to use! Man, would that be a time saver.
i dont see why they wouldnt do it for 3dsmax, i mean it is widely used in the industry still and pixologic is all for making it easier for us so im sure in time they will release it for max
Are you sure? I dont see anything like that on the page you linked to, nor anything like an sdk. If there is an sdk we could have acsess to one of our td’s might be able to code an XSI (ooops sorry softimage;) I just have a feeling getting this done by autodesk is highly unlikey…but maybe I am wrong.
I actually already asked this, and got a response from aurick:
http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=71500
59 days, 2 hours, 42 minutes, 50 seconds, and 42 milliseconds untill
ZB4’s Release.
I’d like to make it clear that
It is impossible to wait.
I’m rather surprised Maya is in the mix already.
With Mudbox being part of the Autodesk empire and Zbrush is the competition and all. The usual behavior is to make it difficult for a person to use anything but an Autodesk product with another Autodesk product.
Just a thought.
even with an sdk, people will most likely have to wait until zbrush 4 is released ( windows side ). since this is comming out for osx first, and considering how different 3.12 is from 3.1 i would guess that the plugin just wont work with 3.1, so people will have to wait a bit. my guess.
Lucida Console]cant wait dat long PPL,
u ppl ar damn crazy
I’m not a programmer or anything, but Maya allows scripts and such. So … I would think this would allow someone to create that shortcut/button ‘GoZBrush’ for Maya. As comparted to other programs that are more closed - application permission is needed to allow the integration of GoZbrush. But I’m no programmer and this is just a thought.
Thanks for supporting C4D and Modo from the get go!! Really looks amazing!
Now get that Mac version of v4 finished! (will you ever have a synchronized released?)
This sounds incredible I can’t wait.
From the top of this thread from Pixologic:
“A detailed GoZBrush communication protocol and software development kit (sdk) will be made available at GoZBrush.com following the relase of GoZ.
This will enable you to easily customize GoZ to fit your existing pipeline.”
So there’s no link yet, but it’ll be there soon. I’d assume and SDK would be available for both OS’s.
