Intervain's Sketchbook

Intervain,

Great Model, Are you into Art Deco sculpture and need more info.

jojo75 - thank you very much  - I’m afraid I most probably won’t be doing any more workshops in the nearest future at least - but I’m sure somebody else will do one soon  [I sure hope so!]

Medicinehorse7 - thank you! I love art deco [I’m guessing you’re refering to the ‘bronze’ sculpt, but it is based on a modern sculpture in fact. I agree it has an art deco feel to it! :)]

well no update on the lady yet - just a zbrush sketch I did to relax, just going with the flow  … [I used Arran Lewis’s skull matcap + a bit of a wooden overlay  ]

Excellent work through out the thread Intervain!

I especially like this last one and the alien sage. :+1: :+1:

Absolutely incredible stuff. I love that Victorian model. I go to Ren faires and Victorian faires when ever I get the chance, love wearing the costumes and all. If I saw that dress for sale I would buy it in a heartbeat. I love that awesome color. And Gandalf being my most favorite character in LTR love that bust of him hope to see more of your work soon. 5*

such a gorgeous design, I love it.

very nice design, Intervain! I really like the subtle curves and silhouette of your model.

well seems like this thread is turning more into a sketchbook… here’s the ‘manimal’ speed sculpt - 4hrs - from the speed sculpting contest over at 3d total, inspired by chicken wings ;):

turkey_woman_4hrs

and a couple of quick sketches I did in my free time… first one inspired by mushrooms for a change  and the other one, hair…

mushie

and finally a new WIP… still early days [looks crappy atm but I want to show I am doing something  ], very little sculpting done - DIOGENES with his barrel, lantern and dog… yes I realize that lanters in those days looked different but I had to make sure people knew that’s what it was… the ancient greek ones don’t look much like a lantern… artistic licence you see
this is not a copy of a sculpture of any sort btw …main ref from 3dsk…
